Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal star in 'The Gray Zone'

Every Thursday, new productions are shown in Brazilian cinemas. So you don't miss anything, Antena 1 listed some of this week's main releases.

In the Gray Zone

Directed by Guy Ritchie, "In the Gray Zone" follows two rescue specialists, played by Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal, embarking on a mission to recover a billion-dollar fortune that was stolen. To do so, they need to find a safe escape route for the negotiator played by Eiza González, but the plan quickly turns into an explosive war.

Top Gun

"Top Gun: Indomitable Aces" (1986) and "Top Gun: Maverick" (2022) are back on the big screen. The relaunch, which celebrates 40 years of the franchise starring Tom Cruise, will feature the films for a period of one week.

For horror fans, new features include "Obsession". National cinema presents the children's adaptation "The Genius of Crime" and "The King of the Internet", inspired by a true story. Among the highlights is also "Surda", a Spanish feature film that exposes the challenges of motherhood from the perspective of a woman with a disability.
