Henry Borel case: see who some of the witnesses are at trial
The Rio de Janeiro Jury Court resumed this Monday (25) the trial of Jairo Souza Santos Júnior, Dr. Jairinho, and Monique Medeiros, accused of the death of the boy Henry Borel, which occurred in March 2021.
The session, chaired by judge Elizabeth Machado Louro, begins the instruction phase in plenary with the testimony of prosecution witnesses and technical experts.
Witnesses confirmed for the first day
The hearing schedule for the opening of the trial prioritizes public agents who worked directly in the investigation of the case. In total, 27 witnesses were called in the process.

According to the schedule of the II Jury Court, those called to testify this Monday are:
- Henrique Damasceno: Head of the 16th DP (Barra da Tijuca) at the time of the crime and responsible for conducting the police inquiry; domestic.

- Henry Borel's nanny: Professional who worked in the couple's apartment and who, according to investigations, alerted Monique Medeiros via cell phone messages about attacks carried out by Jairinho a month before his death; March 8, 2021 and noticed signs of physical aggression.
