The country duo Henrique and Juliano announced this Tuesday (30) the cancellation of two shows that would take place in Rondônia, next weekend. The duo's decision was made after Henrique, 37, underwent emergency surgery to treat a bilateral inguinal hernia. In a statement, the duo's advisors reported that the procedure went well and that he will rest as per medical advice.
"Last Sunday, 28th, Henrique went to Hospital Einstein Israelita - Goiânia with intense pain in the right inguinal region; after clinical evaluation, surgical correction was established. The singer underwent a bilateral inguinal herniorrhaphy. Henrique was discharged and, on medical advice, will remain at rest until 07/08, when he will be reevaluated", the note said.
The advisor also guaranteed that the amounts received from the tickets will be reimbursed to the contractor, as well as the return of the tickets. "We ask that you contact the local production. The duo was successful during the 2010s, with career hits such as "Cuida Bem Dela", "Recaídas" and "Liberdade Provisória". Formed by brothers Ricelly Henrique Tavares Reis and Edson Alves dos Reis Junior, the duo is from Palmeirópolis, in the state of Tocantins.
