Helicopter crashes in southwest England, say British police

A helicopter crashed in a field in the Sourton Down region, in the county of Devon, southwest England, on Wednesday morning (3). According to local police, the case is treated as an ongoing incident and has mobilized emergency teams.
The BBC reported that the British Ministry of Defense confirmed that the aircraft involved belongs to the Royal Navy.
Because of the incident, the A386 highway was closed between Sourton Down and Okehampton to allow investigation work.
Employees at a service station located close to the crash site told the BBC that access to the area was restricted after the accident.
