"Heated Rivalry" actor appears with swastika on his face and generates controversy
A photo of actor Hudson Williams, 25, generated negative reactions on social media in recent days. The star of the series "Heated Rivalry" appeared with his face drawn and one of the images was linked to a swastika.
According to TMZ, the images are old and show the Canadian in a party atmosphere.
The Nazi symbol would have been drawn as a joke among his friends, but he didn't even know what it meant.
"The drawings do not reflect - and have never reflected - Hudson's beliefs, values or character", argued a person close to Williams to the publication.
Hudson has not yet commented on the controversy involving his name on social media or in the press.
The actor became known for playing hockey player Shane Hollander, who falls in love with his main rival Ilya Rozanov, played by Connor Storrie.
