Trump cancels attacks on Iran and talks again about a peace agreement; Tehran
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Thursday (11) that he canceled the wave of attacks on Iran that he had ordered to take place throughout the day. Trump said he had decided to cancel it after negotiators reached a consensus on the "final points" of the agreement to end the war.
The decision coincides with the first of the three openings of the World Cup that took place recently.
Minutes after Trump's speech, however, Iran stated that the country has not yet approved any agreement. "No text for the initial memorandum of understanding with the United States has been approved", stated the state agency Fars.

The elections in Peru remain fierce
Keiko Fujimori once again took the lead in the counting of votes in the second round of Peru's presidential elections this Thursday (11).
After three days behind Roberto Sánchez, the conservative candidate, has the highest number of votes: 50.002% against 49.998% for the left-wing deputy. The difference is just 651 votes.

Arrival of El Niño is confirmed by the US climate agency and could have record strength
The United States Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) confirmed this Thursday (11) the formation of El Niño, a natural climate phenomenon that occurs when the surface waters of the Equatorial Pacific Ocean become warmer than normal.
Now, the discussion is no longer whether the phenomenon will occur, but what its intensity will be. In the bulletin released this Thursday, the agency confirmed that it is established and indicated a 63% probability that it will become very strong, with the potential to join the group of largest events recorded since 1950.
