Haaland, the Norwegian player who eliminated Brazil, was once part of the RAP group
Norwegian player Erling Haaland, 25, who scored the two goals that eliminated the Brazilian team from the World Cup, was once part of a rap group. As a teenager, he was part of the rap group Flow Kingz with friends Erik Botheim and Erik Tobias, created at a camp for young football athletes in his home country. After Norway's victory over Brazil in the round of 16 of the World Cup, the music video for "Kygo Jo" went viral again.
With more than 20 million views on YouTube, the clip shows the Manchester City center forward singing rhymes in his mother tongue. The production was the first and last for the group, which only has a single track published on the channel. Haalanda appears in a sweatshirt and cap alongside his friends, who also became professional players, playing for European clubs.
"I've been making music and making millions/ In fact, I bought a gas grill/ In case you were wondering, I also went to the market/ I did some shopping because I have a lot of money," he sings in the first verses of the song. The name of the track references Norwegian DJ Kygo, who gained notoriety in the music industry with his remix of Ed Sheeran's track "I See Fire" and single "Firestone" in 2014.

In addition to his sporting achievements, the athlete has a relationship with influencer and former player Isabel Haugseng Johansen. Born in Bryne, a small town in southwestern Norway, she played football, playing for the youth teams at Bryne FK, the club where Haaland started his career.
The two have been together since 2021 and, in December 2024, they became parents of their first daughter, aged 1 year and 7 months. They maintain a private life and, to date, have never shared images that identify their daughter.
