Haaland provokes Brazil after elimination: "Well, well, well..."

Erling Haaland was the big name in Norway's 2-1 victory over Brazil, this Sunday (5), in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup. With two goals in the second half, the striker commanded the Norwegian comeback and even took advantage of the moment to provoke the Brazilian team on social media.

Soon after the match, Haaland published a photo in the locker room on his official profile with a short and provocative caption: "Well, well, well...", in a tone of irony after Brazil's elimination.

On the field, the attacker had a decisive performance. After a discreet first half for Norway, he appeared in the final stage to define the result. The first goal came from a header, taking advantage of a cross in the area. The second came with a strong shot from outside the area, with no chance for the Brazilian goalkeeper.

The victory guaranteed Norway a historic qualification to the quarter-finals of the World Cup. Back at the World Cup after 28 years of absence, the team now awaits the winner of the clash between Mexico and England. The quarterfinals match is scheduled for Saturday, at 6pm (Brasília time).
