GWM Ora 5 opens pre-booking and already has a date for revealing the price

GWM revealed that the Ora 5 is now open for pre-booking. To reserve a unit, interested parties must make a deposit of R$9,000. The price, however, will only be announced on June 29th.

Reserving a 100% electric car can be made via the Mercado Livre website or through a brand dealership.

The Ora 5 arrives to join the Ora 03 BEV58, a 100% electric hatch competing with models in the BYD Dolphin category.

The Ora 5 is an electric SUV measuring 4.47 meters long and 1.83 meters wide. The size is slightly larger than the Jeep Compass. The wheelbase of the Chinese SUV is 2.72 meters.

In terms of safety, the GWM Ora 5 has an ADAS 2+ package with several important driving assistance features.

GWM has not yet highlighted details about the technical part. In Thailand, where it has already been launched, it has an engine with 204 hp and 26.5 kgfm of torque.

The battery has a capacity of 58.3 kWh, which provides a range of 520 km using the NEDC cycle. For Brazil, this range will be smaller.

The maximum charging capacity is 120 kW from a fast socket.
