Gui Amorim takes the lead in the Corinthians U20 assists ranking in 2026

Corinthians U20 gained a new leader in the assists ranking for the 2026 season after the victory over Portuguesa Santista, in the Campeonato Paulista category. Timãozinho won 2 x 0, last Saturday (14), at Fazendinha, with goals from Levy Dias and Luiz Fernando, in a match that also changed the team's list of waiters.
The two assists in the match were distributed between Gui Amorim and Iago Machado. With the pass for Corinthians' second goal, Gui Amorim reached four assists in the year and took first place alone in the ranking.

The first goal of the match came 50 minutes into the first half. After Luiz Gustavo Bahia's cross into the area, Iago Machado made the deflection and Levy Dias appeared to finish with a header, putting Corinthians ahead. The play marked the defender's third assist of the season, taking him to second place in the rankings, alongside Guilherme Pellegrin, Caraguá and Nícollas.
In the second stage, Corinthians continued to control the offensive actions and increased the score in the 31st minute. Gui Amorim advanced along the side of the field and crossed for Luiz Fernando, who headed the ball home and confirmed Timãozinho's 2-0 victory.
In addition to leading the assists ranking, Gui Amorim is also on the radar of the Corinthians board. The club started talks to renew the midfielder's contract for another three seasons, with a contract projected until 2030. The player, born in 2008, has a contract with Corinthians until July 31, 2027.
With the result against Portuguesa Santista, Corinthians U20 continues with important commitments this season. The team's next duel will be this Wednesday (17th), at 3pm (Brasília time), again at Fazendinha, against Vitória, for the 16th round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship.
