A group of Corinthians advisors and associates filed a request for impeachment against Armando Mendonça, vice-president of Timão, due to the developments in the investigation into the alleged diversion of Nike sporting goods at the club. The director was denounced by the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MP-SP) for qualified and continued misappropriation, attempted qualified misappropriation, qualified theft through abuse of trust and coercion during the process, last Wednesday.
