Grandson of Raúl Castro, from Cuba, says he is open to negotiating with Trump

Raúl Guillermo Rodríguez Castro, grandson of former Cuban president Raúl Castro, stated that he was open to negotiating with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, in an interview published by "USA Today" this Monday (6).
In a conversation that lasted two days with the American newspaper, in Havana, Castro's grandson stated:
"I can negotiate with any person designated by the US. If given the opportunity, (of course) with Trump."
He also said that Cuba would be willing, under the right conditions, to release "people considered political prisoners."
In May, Cuba released the names of thousands of prisoners who had been released under a decree issued the previous month, which granted a "full and definitive pardon" to more than 2,000 people.
The decision was described by the Cuban government at the time as a "humanitarian and sovereign gesture", amid negotiations with the US. the US over a series of disputes, including under threat of invasion.

Despite the gesture, in May, the United States announced a series of charges against Raúl Castro, including the crime of murder.
The accusation marked a new critical point in relations between the long-time Cold War rivals and came as Trump is pushing for regime change in Cuba, where communist allies of Castro have been in power since that his late brother, Fidel Castro, led a revolution in 1959.
