Grandma Valdeci dies at age 89; meet influencer
Influencer Valdecir Laurinda dos Santos, known as Vovó Valdeci, died this Wednesday (17) at the age of 89. The elderly woman's daughter-in-law and caregiver, Patrícia Amaral, confirmed the news this afternoon. Earlier, she had published a video announcing that twelve days ago Vovó Valdeci had suffered a stroke.
In the first video published this Wednesday (17), Patrícia asked for prayers and emphasized that the page has always encouraged positive messages, love, care and peace.
"Today, I only ask for prayer, faith and empathy. May the comments be filled with messages of love, hope and affection. I am sure that every prayer made with the heart reaches heaven. Thank you for every positive thought and for all the affection you always had with my grandmother", she wrote.
However, four hours after the first video, Patrícia published a video announcing the death of Vovó Valdeci. In the content, she shared several photos of the elderly woman who won over the public on social media.
"Today my heart says goodbye to one of the people who brought the best out of me. I am grateful to God because I had the opportunity to see her for the last time, to hold her hand, to tell her how much I loved her, that she was a blessing from God and to receive her last smile for me. A smile that I will keep in my heart forever", wrote the influencer's daughter-in-law.
She also completed the tribute: "I also had the privilege of singing to her the song that she loved so much: 'My heart belongs to Jesus, may Jesus live in my heart'. As I sang, she tried to hum along with me. It was a moment of love so pure and so special that I will never forget."
At the end of the publication, Patrícia concluded by talking about the city she will feel. "The pain of longing is immense, but the love we experience is even greater. Today I say goodbye to grandma with tears in my eyes, but with gratitude for every memory, every hug and every teaching and with a clear conscience. Rest in peace grandma and watch over us here."
