Government authorizes use of FGTS as a guarantee in private payroll loans

The federal government announced this Monday (29) that workers who take out private payroll loans will be able to use the FGTS (Service Time Guarantee Fund) as a guarantee for operations.

The Workers' Credit program has been in force since March 2025. The initiative facilitates the contracting of payroll loans for private sector workers, with a limited interest rate of 1.99% per month.
