Gilberto Gil perpetuates 'Tempo rei' tour in four-volume live album

♬ From March 15, 2025 to March 28, 2026, Gilberto Gil toured arenas and stadiums in Brazil with the retrospective show "Tempo rei" on tour touted as the artist's last major excursion. Captured throughout this tour, the show "Tempo rei" will be perpetuated in a live audiovisual album presented in four volumes.
The first volume hits the music market next Friday, June 26th, the 84th anniversary of the birth of the singer, composer and guitarist from Bahia.
Edited by Gege Produções, the album "Tempo rei - Ao vivo (Vol. 1)" presents eight songs from the show's almost entirely original script with the respective audiovisual recordings of the approaches to these songs, directed by Rafael Dragaud and edited by Joana Swan. The focus of the promotion will be on the song "Palco", chosen to open the tour itinerary and the album's promotional work.
The fourth and final volume of the album "Tempo rei - Ao vivo" is scheduled for release in November, when a box with editions of the four LP albums will also hit the market.
