Germany striker pays tribute to Ronaldo Fenômeno after receiving number 9 shirt

Germany released this Tuesday (26) the list of players called up to compete in the World Cup. What caught the public's attention, however, was not the list itself, but the reaction of Stuttgart striker Jamie Leweling on social media.

This is because the player, who will wear the number 9 shirt at the World Cup, changed his profile photo on Instagram and paid homage to Ronaldo Fenômeno.

Leweling created a photo montage of his face, with the famous "cascão" cut, adopted by the Brazilian striker in the 2002 World Cup.

Coincidence or not, it was with Germany that Ronaldo had one of the most memorable moments in World Cups. Brazil's number 9 at the 2002 World Cup scored two goals in the final against the Germans and secured Canarinho's fifth title.
