"Geek Economy": CNN Brasil series is shown in the cinema

"Economia Geek", the new special production by CNN Brasil, was shown in the cinema to the public last Saturday (13). The session, which also featured influencers who participated in the series, took place at the UCI New York City Center, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.

With five 40-minute episodes, the production delves into the universe of geek culture to show the size of the economy driven by the sector and the professionals who transformed games, comics, technology, artificial intelligence and content production into million-dollar businesses and expanding careers.

Throughout the chapters, "Economia Geek" follows different characters who work in areas linked to digital entertainment, innovation and pop culture, revealing the behind-the-scenes, financial challenges, technological impacts and professional transformations of a market in constant evolution.

Presented by journalist Fernando Nakagawa, in partnership with producer Canal Azul, the five-episode series will have its final episode aired next Tuesday (23) on CNN Brasil and on Thursday (25) on CNN Money.

Closing the season, the series delves into the artificial intelligence sector and debates about ethics, diversity and innovation. The episode follows Ahirton Lopes, a specialist in corporate AI systems security; Kayth Kariny, who works remotely from the interior of Amazonas developing predictive models for retail; and neuroscientist Gil Sant'Anna, who uses artificial intelligence and data analysis to drive racial diversity in leadership roles.
