Gaviões da Fiel speaks out after the expulsion of Augusto Melo and demands responsibility from the current management of Corinthians

Gaviões da Fiel published, this Tuesday (2), an official note commenting on the exclusion of Augusto Melo from Corinthians' membership. The club's main organized fans classified the decision as an important step in the process of institutional reconstruction and reinforced that it will continue to closely monitor the actions of the current black and white administration.
The expulsion of the former president was approved last Monday night (1st), during a meeting of the Corinthians Deliberative Council. Of the 156 councilors present, 147 voted in favor of Augusto Melo's exclusion from the club's membership.

In the position published on social media, the organizer stated that the measure should not be analyzed in isolation. The entity highlighted that, in a short period of time, three former presidents stopped being part of Corinthians' membership, a scenario that, according to fans, reflects problems accumulated throughout different administrations.
In addition to the expulsion of Augusto Melo, the demonstration refers to the exclusion of former president Andrés Sanchez, approved by the Deliberative Council the previous week, and the decision of Duilio Monteiro Alves to give up his title as a redeemed member of the club.
Gaviões da Fiel also defended that any liability should not be restricted to a single director. In the text, the organization states that all those who have acted to the detriment of Corinthians' interests must answer for their actions, citing as examples conduct related to the political use of the institution, lack of transparency and decisions that put the club's assets at risk.
Another point addressed by the organized fans was Corinthians' financial situation. The note relates the current situation to a sequence of administrations marked by administrative errors and highlights the need for structural changes to recover the club's economic stability.
Even celebrating the decision taken by the Deliberative Council, Gaviões stated that it will continue to monitor the next steps of the board chaired by Osmar Stabile. The organization declared that it will closely monitor the work of the current management, in addition to the actions of advisors and other managers, demanding transparency, responsibility and commitment to the recovery of Corinthians.
The demonstration also highlights that the participation of members and fans in the club's political processes has been fundamental to promoting internal changes and reinforces the need to maintain permanent supervision over those who occupy positions of power in the institution.

"Corinthians can no longer be held hostage by directors who betrayed Fiel's trust and placed personal interests above the club. With each lie and wrong decision, our institution was injured.
Augusto Melo's expulsion is not isolated: in one week, three former presidents were excluded. This scenario forces us to reflect on management marked by failures and omissions that led the club to a financial crisis. But it also represents hope: reconstruction begins with the vote of the Faithful Fan. Approval in the General Assembly opens a new path, with direct impacts on the economic health and management of Corinthians.
It is not enough to punish a name. It's time to hold everyone who harmed the club accountable. Anyone who lies to the fans, uses Corinthians as a political springboard or puts their assets at risk does not deserve to be an advisor or leader.
Corinthians is bigger than anyone. Our history was built with Fiel's sweat, passion and loyalty. Expelling those who betrayed the trust of the Corinthian Nation is justice and protection for the future of Coringão. May this moment be the beginning of a new era: transparency, responsibility and respect for the biggest fans in the world. Corinthians belongs to the people, and the people demand change, cleanliness and an active voice.
And let's be clear: we are keeping an eye on current president Osmar Stabile and all advisors and directors. The message is given: nothing will be tolerated anymore. We will only accept honesty, responsibility and management committed to pulling Corinthians out of the financial abyss. For Corinthians, with lots of love, until the end!"
