Gaviões da Fiel is present at Brazil's debut at the 2026 World Cup

Even without players from the current Corinthians squad called up for the 2026 World Cup, the club had representatives in the stands during the Brazilian team's debut in the tournament. Gaviões da Fiel, Timão's main organized fan base, was present at the New York/New Jersey Stadium, in the United States, and carried flags with references to its identity and that of Corinthians.
The Brazilian team faced Morocco this Saturday (13th), at 7pm, in the first round of the group stage of the competition. At the stadium, the organized black and white team displayed two of their own symbols during the match.

One of the flags featured a shield inspired by the symbol of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), but with changes made by the fans. The original acronym was replaced by "GDF", an abbreviation for Gaviões da Fiel, while the green of the emblem was replaced by black, a color associated with Corinthians and the fans themselves.
The second flag taken to the stadium reinforced the connection with the Parque São Jorge club. The material featured the Corinthians shield, the figure of a hawk and the inscription "Gaviões" in the center.
The presence of Gaviões da Fiel is part of a mobilization involving organized Brazilian fans to support the team during the World Cup. The Yellow Green Movement (MVA), the official fans of Team Brazil and the Brazilian Paralympic Committee, brought together groups from different clubs to follow the national team's campaign.
In addition to Gaviões, other fans linked to Corinthians also participate in the initiative, such as Fiel Macabra, Estopim da Fiel and Camisa 12.
Brazil is in Group C of the 2026 World Cup. After the clash against Morocco, the team led by Carlo Ancelotti will face Haiti, on Friday, at 9:30 pm, at Philadelphia Stadium. The last match of the group stage will be against Scotland, on the 24th, Wednesday, at 7pm, again at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.
Despite not having athletes from the current Corinthian squad on the final list of the Brazilian team, Corinthians has representatives who have spent time at the club. Defender Marquinhos and striker Gabriel Martinelli were revealed by Timão's youth teams, while Gabriel Magalhães has already declared that he is a Corinthian fan and usually follows matches at the Neo Química Arena.
In Brazil's debut, Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhães formed the starting defense duo, while Martinelli started the match among the reserves.
The current Corinthians squad could also have a representative on the field at the World Cup. Striker Memphis Depay was called up by the Netherlands national team and is expected to debut on Sunday (14), against Japan, at 5pm, at Dallas Stadium, in the first games of the group stage.
