Gaviões da Fiel brings together thousands of fans at the Neo Química Arena in celebration of the fans' 57th anniversary

Gaviões da Fiel promoted, last Saturday (4), a big party to celebrate the 57th anniversary of the founding of Corinthians' main organized fans. The event was held in the Neo Química Arena parking lot, was sold out and brought together thousands of fans in a program that included shows, presentations by the organized drums and tributes to the entity's trajectory.

The 57th anniversary celebrations began on July 1st, Gaviões' anniversary date, with a samba circle at the fans' headquarters, in the Bom Retiro neighborhood, aimed at members. This weekend, however, the celebration was expanded and opened to the general public, taking the party to Corinthians' home.

The program lasted more than ten hours and featured performances by the Ritmão drums, as well as artists such as Salgadinho, MC Hariel, Belo, Sorriso Maroto and MC Don Juan. Throughout the celebration, organized flags, flares, fireworks and the fans' traditional chants were present, including the well-known "Poropopó", often sung in the stands of the Neo Química Arena.

During the event, the president of Gaviões da Fiel, Alexandre Domenico, thanked the fans, the founders of the fans and everyone who participated in organizing the celebration for their presence.

"I want to thank all of you for being there, for the presence of those who made this happen. It wasn't easy, we were very exhausted. But, thank God, everything worked out. Thank you to our founders, thank you very much, you carried this magnificent story."

Afterwards, the director explained the choice of Neo Química Arena to host the organizer's birthday party and highlighted the significance of the stadium for the recent history of the fans and the club.

"It couldn't be a different place. We have this 57th birthday party here, in our house. It had to be here. It symbolizes a lot of things. Here we have our brothers and sisters from Wednesday and Sunday. Suffering, sometimes in happiness too. Here we took Corinthians, in 2024, out of the relegation zone. You all know that very well."

In addition to the celebrations, Alexandre Domenico also addressed the political moment Corinthians is experiencing. In his speech, the president of Gaviões highlighted the role of organized fans in recent movements involving the club's administration and defended the unity of Corinthians fans.

"Our union made this possible. Our union, among all Corinthians, made us overthrow three former presidents of Corinthians, who tarnished our history. We couldn't have a party just with Gaviões da Fiel. We had to have a party with Corinthians in general.

This union was very important for all of this to happen. Very important. We have several obstacles ahead. We are living in a very difficult time. Corinthians is going through a very difficult time. But all of us here, we are Corinthians' guardians. All of us. We will never let these guys, who know nothing about Corinthians' history, ruin our history."

The party marked the end of the special program celebrating 57 years of Gaviões da Fiel, bringing together fans from different generations in one of the main symbols of Corinthians' recent history.
