Ganley's coach speaks out after death: "Worst days of my life"
Trainer and bodybuilder Marcelo Cruz spoke out on social media following the death of Gabriel Ganley, athlete and influencer, who was found dead at home this Saturday (23).
Currently, Ganley was preparing to compete in the Musclecontest Brasil, which takes place in July, in Curitiba (PR).
In a post, Cruz, as he is known, mourned the death and recalled the moments with Ganley. The publication already has more than 400 thousand likes.
"He was a person who showed me the path of willpower, of wanting to win, of resilience in always achieving the goals I had in mind (...) he and I were much more than a coach/athlete, we told you about our plans, shared dreams and goals and life took you in such a sudden way that with you it was a piece of me. You will be greatly missed and what remains in this life are our stories together. Thank you for everything you did for me, for us, my gratitude will be eternal"

The young athlete's early death generated great repercussions on social media and in the bodybuilding world after being confirmed in the afternoon by Integral Médica, a sports supplement company of which he was part.
The trainer also disabled the comments on the post, after being criticized for the death.

To date, the cause of what led to Ganley's death has not been disclosed.
Ganley's death is being investigated as suspicious, according to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat.
The SSP stated that the victim was located by a friend, and that "no apparent signs of violence were found at the scene".
An examination was carried out at the scene and the case was registered as "suspicious death - sudden death.
In situations like this, the registration of a suspicious death does not necessarily mean evidence of a crime, but rather a classification used when the cause of death is not yet clear and depends on expert examinations to be determined.

Athletes mourned his death
Bodybuilding athlete and current Classic Physique champion at Mr. Olympia, Ramon Dino, mourned Ganley's death.
In a post on social media, Dino wrote that "we never know when the last moment might be" and sent his condolences to Ganley's friends and family.

"Always happy, always playful, always making those around him laugh. It was impossible to be with him and not remember the jokes, the jokes, the good energy he brought to places. A genuine guy, with a pure heart, who made a point of making everyone feel good," he wrote.

Athlete, influencer and businessman Renato Cariani also mourned Ganley's death and stated that he will cherish "all the reviews and moments we shared together".
"May the heavens receive you with joy and may your family be comforted with the peace of the Lord", he continued.
On his YouTube channel, Cariani published a video as a tribute.
