Galvão Bueno undergoes surgery for a herniated disc and continues to recover

Galvão Bueno underwent surgery for a herniated disc this Saturday morning (23), at Albert Einstein Hospital, in São Paulo. The procedure was successful and the 75-year-old narrator will continue the recovery process.

According to the journalist's advice, he will begin the recovery stage while still in the hospital, with the help of physiotherapy.

When he was hospitalized, Galvão published a video on social media talking about the situation. "I had a problem with my spine, I pinched a nerve and my left leg was a little damaged. My friend, Dr. Hallim Ferez, will put in a little plate, some screws, everything will be fine, with all the medical supervision from another friend, Dr. Alberto Finzoli", he said.
