Galvão Bueno reacted to Wesley's cut and spoke about Éderson's call-up for the World Cup. The historic narrator used social media to comment on Carlo Ancelotti's plans following the changes this Sunday (7) in the Brazilian team.
"Wesley cut off due to injury! Midfielder Éderson, from Atalanta, was called up in his place, who is agreeing to go to Manchester United in place of Casemiro, who is going to American football! "I'm really sorry about Wesley's injury! Yesterday (Saturday) it was already clear that it was serious, as he cried a lot on the bench! Another thigh adductor muscle problem during the World Cup! The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed the injury to Wesley's left thigh, suffered during Brazil's 2-1 victory over Egypt this Saturday (6).
"The CBF informs that the athlete Wesley was re-evaluated this Sunday by the Brazilian National Team's medical committee and underwent an imaging test. The magnetic resonance imaging revealed a muscle injury in the adductor muscle of the left thigh", he began.
"The CBF regrets the injury. Wesley is an athlete loved by the group and will always be considered part of this team that seeks a sixth world championship. In light of the diagnosis, the CBF announces the call-up of the athlete Éderson, who will join the delegation this Monday, in the United States", the entity announced.
