Galvão Bueno is hospitalized, but not a concern for the World Cup

Galvão Bueno was admitted this Friday (22) to the Albert Einstein Hospital, in São Paulo, for the correction of a herniated disc. The on-site procedures, however, should not affect the SBT commentator's plans for the World Cup.

The 75-year-old narrator even complained of back pain during the Galvão FC program, shown last Monday (18). He also did not participate in the broadcaster's press conference to present the team that will cover the World Cup. In a video shown at the event, the journalist explained that his leg was locked after feeling a "pinch in the lower back".

The commentator is expected to leave for the United States on June 7th. Galvão will be responsible for narrating the Brazilian team's games on SBT, in partnership with N Sports, a sports channel of which he is a partner.
