Gabigol is expelled for an obscene gesture in Santos x Vitória; watch the video

Gabigol, Santos striker, was sent off for an obscene gesture in the 14th minute of the second half of the match against Vitória, this Saturday (30), in Vila Belmiro, in the 18th round of the Brazilian Championship.

After scoring the Santos team's third goal, the number 9 first put his index finger to his lips, asking for "silence". He then touched his genitals towards the stands. According to the Sportv broadcast, the attitude would have been a response to insults coming from a fan.

The move was reviewed by VAR, and the field referee decided to issue a direct red card, leaving Santos with one player less for the remainder of the match.
