Gabi Martins discovers her godfather's death moments before the show: "Greatest pain"

Singer Gabi Martins, 25, shared a video on social media, this Thursday (10), in which she reveals a painful moment before one of her shows. According to the report, she received the news of her godfather's death minutes before going on stage.

"I asked God to give me strength and be able to sing. I said 'Lord, may my voice be your voice'. May I be able to bring joy to these people even with their hearts broken," she wrote.

In the caption of the publication, she also commented: "Yesterday music was my strength in the midst of the greatest pain."

Throughout the video, she appears moments before the concert and also on stage. Gabi Martins opened up to her fans about what she was feeling.

"Before coming to the show, my mother called me to tell me that my godfather had passed away. And this is the hardest show I've done in my life. And you helped me a lot. I really wanted to thank each and every one of you", he said.

Among the images, she also shared a photo next to her godfather. "Thank you, godfather" We will love you forever! Rest in peace," wrote the artist.

This is not the first time that Gabi Martins has spoken openly about dealing with grief. This past Monday (6), the singer declared that she was mourning two loved ones. "It hasn't been easy to lose two loved ones. But we have to move on," she said.
