The Renault Clio, the cheapest new car in Brazil, currently costs R$78,690. For this price, many people consider switching to a pre-owned or used car. But, depending on the moment, it is possible to find significant discounts on brand new models that are about to be discontinued.
Promotions on vehicles close to discontinuation can range from R$30,000 to up to R$60,000, as was the case with the Volkswagen Amarok: in 2014 units of the old model had a R$60,000 discount at dealerships, due to the arrival of a new generation.
