Fuel prices fall in the second week of July, according to ANP

Fuel prices fell in the week of July 5th to 11th, particularly diesel, according to the ANP (National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) Price Survey. Diesel, both the S-10 and S-500 types, fell 0.7% compared to the previous week.

The average price of the S-10 diesel went from R$7.02 to R$6.97 per liter from one week to the next, and the S-500 fell from R$6.69 to R$6.64 per liter.

Gasoline also registered a price drop of 0.4%, going from an average of R$6.61 last week to R$6.58 per liter this week. The average price of cooking gas fell 0.1%, to R$114.41 for a 13-kilogram cylinder of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).

The most expensive diesel and gasoline were found in Guarujá, in São Paulo, at R$9.79 per liter each. The cooking gas with the highest price, R$ 161.00 per cylinder, was registered by the ANP in Uruguaiana, Rio Grande do Sul.

The cheapest diesel, at R$ 5.89 per liter, was found in Rio de Janeiro, while the cheapest gasoline, at R$ 5.49 per liter, was sold in Araraquara, São Paulo. The lowest priced cooking gas, at R$79.00 per cylinder, was registered in Caçapava, also in São Paulo, the regulatory agency reported.
