From fear of heights to trauma with horses: Sandra Annenberg reveals challenges faced while recording in Mexico
Presenter Sandra Annenberg had to face two fears while recording Globo Repórter's programs about Mexico: heights and horses. In a behind-the-scenes video, she said she went on a zipline and got back on a horse for the first time since a traumatic experience in her childhood.
According to Sandra, the zip line descent was more intense than I imagined. The presenter stated that she expected a calm activity, but was surprised by the speed and curves of the route.
"I asked myself: what am I doing here?", she recalled.
The biggest challenge, however, involved horses. Sandra said that she developed a fear of animals after a ride when she was around eight years old.
At the time, according to her, the horse she was riding left the expected path and ran through a forested area. The presenter said she had to bend down to avoid the branches while trying to understand what was happening.
Since then, she claims that she had never come close to a horse again.
"From that moment on, I never came close to a horse again, until this Globo Repórter", she said.

In addition to the adventures, Sandra also commented on the cultural challenges of the trip. Among them, the need to familiarize yourself with names and expressions linked to Mexican history.
"Teotihuacán, Tenochtitlán, Nahuatl", mentioned Sandra, when mentioning some of the terms learned during production.
