Former NBA All Star asks for a job on social media: "I have a lot to offer"
Star forward Victor Oladipo posted on social media this Wednesday (1st) that he is looking for a new team to play in the NBA. The former All Star is a free agent after leaving the Cleveland Charge, a development league franchise.
"I'm a free agent. I don't currently have a manager representing me, it's just me and my family. I know I still have a lot to offer and I truly love this sport. I'd rather show that I'm ready than spend my time trying to explain why or inundate you with statistics and analysis to prove it," the 34-year-old wrote.
Selected by the Orlando Magic with the second pick of the 2013 Draft, Oladipo had a great start in the NBA and was named to the ideal all-rookie team that season. Afterwards, he shined with the Indiana Pacers jersey, participating in the All Star in 2018 and 2019.
Victor also made the All-NBA third team once and the league's best defensive team once. At the beginning of 2021, the American was traded to the Houston Rockets, in a deal that involved James Harden going to the Brooklyn Nets.
I'm a free agent. I don't have an agent right now just me and my family.
I know I have a lot left, and I genuinely love this game. I'd rather show you I'm ready than spend my time trying to explain why or flood you with analytics to prove it.

Without the same shine as in previous years, Victor Oladipo played for the Miami Heat, a franchise where he also failed to repeat the great performance of his Pacers season. Last season, the shooting guard played for the Wisconsin Herd and Cleveland Charge, both in the NBA G-League.
"If your focus is on winning, you value the experience of a mentor and you believe we could be a good match, you can contact me directly. Right now, I'm open to all opportunities, I just want to make sure I evaluate each one carefully," the athlete added in the post.
