Forward Felipe Augusto, revealed in the Corinthians youth categories, is close to leaving Turkish football for Russian. Zenit has advanced in negotiations with Trabzonspor and is expected to complete the signing of the 22-year-old player for 15 million euros (approximately R$88.6 million), with the possibility of a further 5 million euros (approximately R$29.6 million) in bonuses for goals established in the contract.

According to Meu Timão, if the transfer is made official, Corinthians will be entitled to financial compensation through FIFA's solidarity mechanism, aimed at the clubs responsible for the athlete's training. As Felipe Augusto played for Timão between the ages of 13 and 19, the São Paulo club can receive approximately 375 thousand euros (around R$2.2 million) considering only the fixed value of the negotiation. The amount may increase if the expected bonuses are met.

Felipe Augusto arrived at Trabzonspor in 2025, after a spell at Cercle Brugge, in Belgium. In Turkish football, the striker quickly gained space, became one of the team's highlights and participated in the campaign that ended with the Turkish Cup title. In the decision, played in May this year, he was a starter in the 2-1 victory over Konyaspor, winning his first trophy as a professional.

Before that, the player had left Corinthians for Cercle Brugge in 2023. At the time, the Belgian club acquired his economic rights for 3 million euros, a deal that represented around R$16 million to the black and white coffers. Subsequently, its sale to Trabzonspor also generated revenue for Corinthians due to FIFA's solidarity mechanism.

Formed in the youth teams at Parque São Jorge, Felipe Augusto debuted for the main team in 2021. Throughout his time with the professional team, he played 29 matches and scored two goals before moving on to European football.

Now, if the agreement with Zenit is confirmed, the striker will take another step in his international career, while Corinthians will be able to reinforce its cash flow with new financial compensation for the athlete's development during his training.
