Former child actor accuses Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexual assault in lawsuit

A former child actor accused Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexual assault in 2007 during a networking event in the Hollywood Hills.

The accuser, whose identity is withheld, filed the case against Combs this week in California. CNN obtained a copy of the legal action.

The lawsuit is the latest chapter in the music mogul's growing and ongoing legal troubles, who is currently in prison and appealing his conviction on federal charges in New York for two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution, for which he was sentenced to more than four years in prison. He also has a case under active review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, according to an agency spokesperson.

In the new lawsuit, Combs is accused of guiding the child actor to the back of a networking event, where he offered him an alcoholic drink before touching the minor and then performing oral sex on him, the complaint states.

A representative for Combs denied the new allegations.

"This is a lie and it was completely fabricated. Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone. These allegations will be debunked like all others. He will exhaust every possible avenue to defend himself and ensure that those who initiate and spread lies are held accountable," Juda Engelmayer, a spokeswoman for Combs, told CNN.

According to the complaint, Combs told the child actor that he "wanted to speak with him privately about some potential opportunities" and that he would be a "good candidate for an upcoming project."

Once Combs and the minor arrived in a private room, Combs offered him his alcoholic drink and made small talk before "beginning to rub" the minor's arm, the lawsuit alleges. The accuser told Combs "that he did not feel comfortable with the way defendant Combs was touching him." Combs tried to get him to relax, according to the document.

"Defendant Combs then pulled down Plaintiff's pants and underwear and began fondling Plaintiff's genitals, while Combs simultaneously touched himself," the lawsuit states. "Defendant Combs then performed oral copulation on the minor plaintiff while continuing to touch himself. Afterwards, defendant Combs pulled up his pants and told plaintiff that he would see what they did from there regarding the role he had in mind."

The accuser filed the case under the pseudonym "John YH Roe." He is described as someone who began his "career as a child actor" around 2004, but no other details have been provided about his identity or the roles he has played. His age at the time was not disclosed, other than the statement that, at the time of the alleged assault in May 2007, the perpetrator "was a minor under the age of 18."

The author is also suing his former talent agency, claiming that they failed to adequately protect him as a minor and that they should have sent an adult escort with him to the networking event they invited him to.

This is not the first time Combs has been accused of sexual assault by a minor. He has already faced lawsuits from plaintiffs who allege they were teenagers at the time they were allegedly assaulted, including one accuser who said he was just 10 years old when he was abused by Combs. Many accusers said they were allegedly assaulted at auditions or other business events.

Combs has denied all allegations against him and stated that he has never sexually assaulted a minor, or anyone else.

In previous statements, Combs' lawyers told CNN: "Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone - male or female, adult or minor."

In addition to the dozens of civil lawsuits Combs faces, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office is reviewing a sexual assault case against him, determining whether the case has enough strength to move forward with filing formal charges.

"In the fall of 2025, the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) and the LASD (Los Angeles Sheriff's Department) each submitted a separate sexual assault investigation of the same victim to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. We are reviewing the case," a spokesman for Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman told CNN last week.

This case arose after Jonathan Hay, a music publicist who spoke extensively to CNN last year, accused Combs of masturbating in front of him on one occasion in 2020 and of forcing him to perform oral sex on him in 2021.

Combs' team did not respond to CNN's request for comment about the Los Angeles district attorney's office's review of the case. But since Hay filed his civil suit against Combs, the musician's lawyers have vehemently denied the allegations.

"As Mr. Combs' legal team has repeatedly stated for more than a year, he cannot respond to all of the baseless allegations in what has become a media circus. Let me be absolutely clear: Mr. Combs categorically denies as false and defamatory all allegations that he sexually abused anyone," Jonathan Davis, Combs' civil attorney, previously told CNN in a statement.

"Knowing that the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office is actively reviewing my case is a profound moment of validation," Hay told CNN in an email this week. "I am committed to ensuring that justice is served. Those responsible for their actions must finally face the consequences determined by law."

CNN also reached out to the former child actor's attorney for further comment on the lawsuit filed this week.
