Ford do Brasil announced this Tuesday (2) a recall for the Maverick and F-150 pickup trucks, in addition to the Bronco Sport sports utility vehicle and the Mustang sports utility vehicle. The reason, according to the company, would be in the engine's intake air temperature sensor.

If this component is not working correctly, the vehicle's diagnostic system may not identify the correct intake air temperature.
The consequence of this defect, according to Ford, is that the dashboard warning light will not come on. This will prevent the identification of variations in vehicle gas emissions levels.
The solution is to update the engine control module. The service is free and, according to Ford, it takes 30 minutes to complete the repair.
