Fluminense visits Mirassol to stay in the fight for the Brazilian title
Fluminense goes to Maião, in Mirassol, to visit Mirassol for the 17th round of Series A of the Brazilian Championship, with an eye on the top of the competition. Tricolor is currently in third place with 30 points tied with Flamengo, who is in second place. The confrontation will be this Saturday (23), at 7pm (Brasília time).
Just above is Palmeiras with 35 points. However, the two will also face each other this Saturday and a draw combined with Flu's victory leaves the Rio team even closer to the leaders.
Mirassol is in the relegation zone of the competition. With just 13 points won, the São Paulo team is in 19th place, just ahead of Chapecoense, which is bottom with nine points.
How Mirassol arrives
With an eye on recovery at home, coach Rafael Guanaes will bring maximum strength to Mirassol. With no absences due to suspension, the commander has the entire squad available to seek victory.
Unlike Fluminense, the team from São Paulo is already qualified for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores and should finish the first phase at the top of its group.
How Fluminense arrives
With an eye on the Libertadores clash in midweek against Deportivo La Guaira, the Argentine coach will make changes, especially in attack. The tendency is for Soteldo and Serna to have a chance, with Rodrigo Castillo. Top scorer John Kennedy could start on the bench.
In defense, Jemmes returns in place of Ignácio. Samuel Xavier and Renê should also gain an opportunity. Bernal steps into Nonato's position, as Martinelli remains in the medical department.
Probable Mirassol

Probable Fluminense
Fábio; Samuel Xavier, Jemmes, Freytes and Renê; Bernal, Hércules (Nonato) and Lucho Acosta; Serna, Soteldo and Castillo (John Kennedy). Coach: Luís Zubeldía.
