Fluminense is interested in signing Arthur Melo, a Grêmio standout. The former Brazilian national team member belongs to Juventus and is on loan to the club from Rio Grande do Sul until June 30, 2026.

As Itatiaia found out, Flu is monitoring the situation of the Grêmio captain and would like to count on his arrival for the remainder of the season, but does not intend to purchase the player. The information was anticipated by journalist Diogo Rossi.

Juventus just wants to sell the midfielder - for a price of around 6 to 7 million euros (approximately R$35 and R$41 million at the current price). Fluminense's consultation was carried out initially and there is still no progress between the parties.

Arthur wants to stay in Porto Alegre, but his future is undefined. In recent weeks, Como, from Italy, investigated the athlete's situation.

"Grêmio and I would like to continue, we are talking about staying. Grêmio said they would like me to stay. But there is a contract, there is Juventus in the middle. It's not that simple", said Arthur last month.

"We are working to see if we can stay at Grêmio, but I'm not sure. I can't say anything. Everyone knows my desire (to stay). It's my home, I'm doing very well and I want to stay here", concluded the Grêmio idol.

In Series A of the Brazilian Championship, the number 8 has only 10 games for Imortal and could play for another team in the rest of the competition.

Arthur returned to Grêmio in August 2025, after playing in European football - Barcelona, Juventus, Liverpool, Fiorentina and Girona. Currently 29 years old, the midfielder has on his resume the 2017 Copa Libertadores title with Tricolor Gaúcho.
