Flávio says that Lula "went to lick Trump's boots" at a meeting in the USA

The senator and PL's pre-candidate for President, Flávio Bolsonaro (RJ), said this Friday (29) that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) went to "lick the boots" of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in the meeting he had with the Republican, at the beginning of the month.

During the launch of PL candidacies in Paraná, Flávio criticized Lula and once again said that the opposition has already done more for Brazil than the PT administrations.

"We have already done more than Lula and the PT in the last 20 years. Crime has taken over Brazil. While he went to lick Trump's boots to lobby for the PCC and the CV, we went there to ask for them to be treated as terrorists and what they are", he stated.

In his speech, the PL pre-candidate also said that Lula defends the sovereignty of the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) and the CV (Comando Vermelho). He further insinuated that his opponent in this year's elections "is either part of narco-terrorist organizations or is being threatened by them."

"Lula is defending the sovereignty of the CV and the PCC. And we will not admit that", he said.

Flávio's speeches were a response to statements made by Lula earlier this Friday. The current president called the PL pre-candidate a "traitor" for "going to the United States to ask for American intervention in Brazil".

This week, the senator met with US government officials, including President Trump. After the meeting, the congressman stated that he asked for Brazilian factions to be classified as terrorist organizations.

On Thursday (28), Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the USA classified the PCC and the CV on the list of terrorist groups.
