Flávio: PCC and CV either "stand up to Brazil" or "are going to be arrested" in 2027

Senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) spoke again this Wednesday (3) about the actions of the criminal factions PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) and CV (Comando Vermelho) and the classification of terrorists assigned by the United States government.

During the 1st Abastece Brasil Forum in Contagem (MG), Flávio called the factions "real threats to democracy" and once again criticized the stance of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in combating these groups.

At the end of his speech, the senator promised a strict stance and threatened that, from 2027, criminals will be "arrested or neutralized by the police" if elected.

"The CV and the PCC are the real threats to democracy, and Lula is defending those who threaten our democracy, which are these terrorists. Enough is enough, Brazil can no longer tolerate a President of the Republic who lobbies for drug traffickers. [...] A clear message: these terrorists, CV, PCC, either you stand in the way of Brazil by the end of the year or, from 2027, you will be arrested or neutralized by the police", he stated.

Government and opposition disagree on US classification
The American government's decision last Thursday (28) to classify PCC and CV as terrorist organizations raised differences between government and opposition.

The decision came after Flávio's visit to the United States last week, in which he met with President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

On the day the opinion was released, the senator celebrated the decision on his social networks. When sharing Rubio's post about the new classification, Flávio wrote: "Great day"; and subsequently published a video commenting on the actions with the American government.

"On a trip as a pre-candidate, I did more for Brazil and for the safety of Brazilians than the PT and Lula did in their seventeen years in office", he commented at the time.

The Planalto Palace issued a note in response to the American decision, listing the fronts on which the federal government acts to combat organized crime and reduce violence and crime rates.

The document states that any international cooperation is welcome, as long as it does not directly attack the country's national sovereignty and financial independence.

The document also criticized the Bolsonaro family, stating that it is "deplorable that once again members of the Bolsonaro family travel to the United States to defend foreign intervention in Brazil, as they already did with the Tariff, which caused so much damage to our country."
