The conflictive relationship between the senator and pre-candidate for President, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and the former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro takes away an electoral asset from his campaign for Planalto, according to an analysis by the president of Instituto Locomotiva, Renato Meirelles, to WW Especial.

He points out that the issue goes far beyond the loss of votes at the polls, affecting the senator's reach among the female public. "He lost the chance for a narrative and an electoral campaign," he said.

The crisis began with a video on social media, where Michelle exposed friction with Flávio, which arose from disagreements over PL platforms. She stated that she had felt humiliated by the senator, who had also been harsh with her.

"He said it would be better for me to stay out of the party's decisions. He said I had arrived yesterday and didn't understand anything about politics," he said in the video. Flávio denied his intention to offend her and apologized.

A week later, Michelle left the presidency of PL Mulher, saying that she would like to dedicate herself exclusively to the care of her husband, Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

However, the senator still hopes that the former first lady will join his campaign. "I'm always open here to talk, always waiting for as long as she thinks is enough to be with us on the campaign, wearing the shirt, because I'm sure Michelle thinks the same as me", he declared.

Meirelles explains that the former first lady adopts a communication model that avoids controversy and combines a "conservative, but light" approach. Politically, Michelle built a strong community within PL Mulher, where she organized meetings, debates and the participation of Evangelical Churches in social programs.

"She became stronger as the 'aspirational' evangelical woman, who is conservative", she says. "She has a very new way of speaking to women, as a woman speaking to a woman."

The scenario for Flávio in front of the female audience is already seen as complex. In the latest Quest survey, President Lula (PT) had 41% of voting intentions among this public; the senator had 24%. For comparison purposes, among men the dispute is tighter, 37% for Lula and 34% for Flávio.

For this reason, the senator would be looking for an evangelical woman for the vice-presidential ticket, according to CNN Brasil.
