Flávio has many questions to explain, says Tarcísio about his visit to Vorcaro

The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), stated that the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) "has many questions to explain" about his relationship with former banker Daniel Vorcaro, from Banco Master. The statement was made this Tuesday (26) during the handover of the Perus sewage treatment plant, in the north of São Paulo.

"There are many issues that he himself needs to explain. The population is seeing these scandals at Banco Master, which is something that attacks society as a whole. This puts society on alert. And then everything has to be explained very well", said Tarcísio.

Flávio negotiated directly with Vorcaro a transfer of US$24 million, approximately R$134 million, to finance a film about former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

Bolsonaro's number one son also visited the former banker after he was arrested for the first time, as part of Operation Compliance Zero. According to Flávio, the visit aimed to "close the negotiation" for Vorcaro to sponsor the film. The senator stated that he omitted contact with the former owner of Master due to a confidentiality agreement.

The Federal Police investigate Flávio's relationship with Vorcaro. One of the suspicions is that part of the amount would have been used to cover expenses of former deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) in the United States.

Around R$61 million were paid by Vorcaro between February and May 2025. Of this amount, US$2 million would have been transferred to a fund based in Texas called Havengate Development Fund LP, one of whose legal guardians is Paulo Calixto, Eduardo's lawyer.
