Flávio denies having asked Vorcaro for money and says Zema was hasty

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) stated this Monday (1st) that he did not ask former banker Daniel Vorcaro for money to produce the film "Dark Horse", a fiction based on the life of Jair Bolsonaro. According to him, the resources allocated to the film were the result of private investment.

The presidential candidate also spoke about the former governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema (Novo), who has made recent statements about his relationship with the former owner of Banco Master.

"I didn't ask anyone for money. It was private money for a private film", said Flávio during the Eloos event, an Itatiaia initiative in partnership with CNN Brasil.

"There was no public money in the film. It was private investment in a private film to tell the story of the best president this Brazil has ever had, Jair Messias Bolsonaro", he added.

When commenting on Zema's criticisms, the senator stated that the former governor was hasty and defended the union of center-right candidates against the PT.

"I have no concerns about this and I think, once again, that Zema got ahead of himself. I am convinced that both Zema and Caiado and any other center-right candidate will be united, because we have to prevent Brazil from collapsing at the hands of the PT," he said.

Since information about his relationship with Vorcaro came to light, Zema has raised the tone of his criticism of the senator. Initially, he classified the episode as "unforgivable". Afterwards, he stated that "skunk smells like skunk" and said that a possible candidacy by Flávio could favor the re-election of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
