First day of Wimbledon has Sinner and Sabalenka as main attractions
The number 1 seeds, Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, will face Serbian opponents in their Wimbledon debut, which starts this Monday (29). Later, another Serbian, Novak Djokovic, will take the court on Center Court in search of his 25th Grand Slam title.
Mirra Andreeva, excited by her victory at Roland Garros, will face Poland's Magda Linette. Two-time Grand Slam champion Coco Gauff debuts against German Tamara Korpatsch.
British Emma Raducanu, one of the hopes of the home fans, also begins her campaign against Croatian Antonia Ruzic.
