Firefighters rescue three people who were stranded in Minas Gerais

Three people were rescued by the Minas Gerais Fire Department, this Sunday afternoon (14) in Uberlândia, in the Triângulo Mineiro, after the car they were in was taken over by a flash flood.

According to firefighters, the city was hit by heavy rain on Sunday afternoon. The military was called to rescue the trio on Avenida Rondon Pacheco, in the Tabajaras neighborhood, one of the city's main roads, which was taken over by water.

The garrisons, who were already carrying out preventive monitoring at critical points on the avenue, quickly moved to the rescue site. The three people were trapped inside the car with the water already at the top of the vehicle's bumper.

Firefighters accessed the car and safely removed the occupants. After analysis by the rescue team, it was found that none of the victims were injured or required referral to a health unit.
