Find out everything about Sisu+, which offers open places for the 2nd semester
The deadline for interested parties to sign up for Sisu+ opened on Monday (15th) and should be available until Friday, the 19th.
Sisu+ was announced by the MEC (Ministry of Education) at the end of April and is defined by the ministry as a complementary stage of Sisu (Unified Selection System), which takes place every beginning of the year.
The program offers places in public, free higher education institutions. At Sisu+, the remaining vacancies in this central process are offered.
Only the faculties already participating were able to take part in this new stage.
Interested parties must register via the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education. The result of the single call will be announced on the 24th and the call is scheduled to take place on July 1st, for the start of classes in the second semester.
In this complementary stage, there are 532 courses available, including bachelor's and degree formats, and some qualifications, such as Mathematics and Physics, have the largest number of places available.
In total, there are 34 institutions, including universities and federal institutes, offering 9,436 places in 13 different states. The state with the largest number of vacancies is Paraíba, with 1,776, and the one with the fewest is Piauí, with just 21.

What is it?
A program that offers places at universities to those who have taken the last three editions of Enem in institutions that have joined the selection process. These vacancies are those that remained open after the January process of this year, after the waiting list was called and the conclusion of any selection processes specific to the institutions.
Who can participate
Candidates who took the Enem in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and who did not get a zero in the essay and who did not participate in the central process at the beginning of the year. If the student has taken more than one edition of the Exam, for each course, the edition that most favors the candidate will be considered, based on the weighted average of the Enem grades for each edition.
When do registrations close?
Registrations close on Friday (19). Receiving orders began on Monday (15).
How many course options can be made?
Each student can choose up to two courses, and the system will automatically select the Enem editions that meet the requirements and will disregard those in which the candidate has participated as a "trainer" and/or obtained a grade of zero in the essay.
Will there be a waiting list?
Yes, the process will have a waiting list, which should be open from the 24th to the 26th of June.
When do registrations begin at universities?
Students who obtain a place at a particular institution must register from June 25th, as per guidance from the college itself. The registration of those called up on the waiting list is expected to take place from July 1st.
Is Sisu+ only for entry into the second semester?
Yes. Sisu+ 2026 will be used exclusively to offer places for entry in the second half of 2026.
Does the complementary stage accept quotas?
Yes, the system takes into account the different modalities and the option must be selected by the candidate at the time of registration. Additionally, each university has an affirmative action policy. If the alternative is chosen, the student must prove their right to quotas.
