The voice actor Figueira Junior died at the age of 60. The information was shared this Saturday (27) by Tânia Gaidarji, also a voice actress. The cause of death was not revealed.
Figueira was responsible for voicing characters such as Fry, from "Futurama", and Android 17, from "Dragon Ball".
The Brazilian Association of Dubbing Artists (DUBLAR) published a note of condolence on Instagram.
"DUBLAR and DUBLAGEM VIVA deeply regret the loss of their colleague, friend and associate Figueira Jr. With characters that marked the lives of many people, Figueira will now be immortalized through his voice in several works such as Futurama and Dragon Ball. We wish light in his passing and much strength for the family, especially his beloved nephew Daniel Figueira."
In addition to cartoons, the voice actor also worked on films such as "American Pie", "A Dream of Freedom" and "The Matrix".
