FIFA announces salary and Infantino accumulates remuneration of R$25 million
The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, had a gross remuneration of 4.8 million dollars for the 2025 financial year, as detailed in the most recent transparency report released by world football's highest governing body. The amount, equivalent to approximately R$25 million at the current price, will be paid to the manager throughout 2026.

According to the document, the amount consists of a base salary of 2.6 million dollars and a bonus of 2.2 million dollars. The bonus amount is not fixed and may vary according to the criteria established by the organization for each season.
The disclosure is part of the transparency policy adopted by FIFA since 2019, the year in which the entity began to make the salaries of its main executives public. In the first accounting in this format, Infantino received around 2.9 million dollars in salary and bonuses.
In charge of FIFA since 2016, the Swiss director is currently serving his third term at the helm of the institution. In March 2023, he was reappointed to the position by acclamation during the entity's congress, with unanimous support from the 211 affiliated national associations. His mandate is valid until 2027.
