Fiat reveals new generation of Pulse 2028 and Fastback 2028
Fiat presented the first official images of the unprecedented Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, two SUVs developed to expand the brand's global presence in the C segment. The models share the same architecture, but were designed to meet different profiles: a more family SUV and the other a sporty SUV Coupé. The cars will be launched in Europe later this year and anticipate the future Pulse 2028 and Fastback 2028 for Brazil.
According to Fiat, the new cars are part of a global expansion plan based on a modular platform that will allow sales in different regions of the world. In addition to Europe, they also reach the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. The models have the square design of the Grande Panda, which will also be applied to the Fiat Argo 2027.
Both models have the square look of the Big Panda, but with different proposals: the Grizzly (Pulse) takes on the most rational role in the line, prioritizing internal space, versatility and functionality. With straighter lines and proportions aimed at maximizing the use of the cabin, the SUV was designed to serve families who use the vehicle both in the urban environment and on trips.
The Grizzly Fastback focuses on a more design and style-oriented approach. The model adopts a body with a more accentuated rear slope, following the trend of coupe SUVs. Despite the sportier appearance, Fiat claims that the vehicle maintains a good level of practicality and load capacity.

Fiat confirmed that the new SUVs will be offered with different types of propulsion, including versions equipped with combustion engines and fully electric configurations. The models had been discreetly displayed during the Investor Day presentation, which was covered by CNN Brasil.
For Brazil, there are still no official details about the engine, but the expectation is that the duo will use solutions already known from Stellantis. Among the possibilities are versions equipped with the 1.0 turbo T200 engine associated with the 12-volt mild hybrid system, technology that already equips models sold by Fiat and Peugeot.
There is also speculation about future higher performance versions, including possible Abarth variants equipped with the 1.3 turbo T270 engine, although the manufacturer has not yet confirmed this configuration.
The images released reveal a visual identity aligned with Fiat's new global language. The models feature a pixelated LED light signature, a robust front end and design elements that seek to create its own identity for the new family of SUVs.
In addition to the renewed look, the brand highlights that the vehicles were developed to offer a more connected and practical experience in daily use. The proposal is to combine driver assistance technologies, connectivity and internal use solutions in a package aimed at different consumer profiles.
