Influencer Felipe Neto, 38, refused to follow the broadcast of the 2026 World Cup on Globo. The celebrity stated that he was willing to watch games and sports programs during his time at the station, but revised his plans after Virginia Fonseca, 27, was announced as a kind of reporter for the event on "Domingão com Huck".

On X, the Rio native regretted the channel's decision to hire Vini Jr.'s ex, 25, due to some of his controversies.

"This will be the first World Cup in my life that I won't watch on Globo. I was already lost by the team assembled, the other broadcasters are stronger. Now with the little tiger on coverage, no chance," he said.

The nickname "tigrinha" was given to Virginia Fonseca because she promoted betting games in the past. One of the companies in this segment is called "tigrinho game", hence the ironic name given by Felipe Neto to the influencer.

Felipe stated that he will watch the disputes and coverage of the World Cup on streaming, through CazéTV.
