YouTuber Felipe Neto, 38, used social media this Tuesday (7) to complain about an influencer who was allegedly copying his content on the internet.

Through X, the celebrity stated that he doesn't mind being an inspiration for other content creators, but he joked when the work becomes "too much of a tribute".

"I don't mind someone being inspired by my channel, I think it's even a form of homage. Now, copying thumbs, copying the titles of my videos, recreating my paintings and still repeating them to watch at lunch? That's too much of a tribute, I'm even embarrassed", he said.

In the comments, followers tried to find out who Felipe Neto was talking about in the post. "The famous 'the wise man creates, the stupid man copies'", said one internet user.

Another analyzed the YouTuber's career. "Brazilian YouTube is a copy and paste of foreign channels, it's been like that forever. You were inspired by Equals Three, and those who came later were inspired by you. The good part is that you managed to do something with your own identity", he pointed out.

Giant on the web
Felipe Neto began his career on YouTube Brazil in 2010, posting ironic videos on topics that were on the agenda at the time. In the following years, he changed some of the content and started investing in opinions and reactions.

Currently, his channel on the platform has almost 48 million followers, making it one of the largest in the country.
