Feijoada, barbecue and cabin: the dialogues between Vorcaro and Castro
Former banker Daniel Vorcaro and former governor of Rio de Janeiro Cláudio Castro (PL) exchanged a series of messages shortly before Master's multimillion-dollar investments from Rioprevidência, according to investigations by the PF (Federal Police).
The messages, obtained by CNN, mention a series of meetings held by the two, such as feijoadas, barbecue and carnival boxes.
March 2025: Feijoada
- Vorcaro: "Speak, my brother! Is that okay? Let's see each other sometime this week! Tomorrow I'm going to make a feijoada, if I can go with my wife."
- Castro: "Speak, brother. Welcome. Send the address and I'll come. I'll give you a hug there";
March 2025: Barbecue and cabin
- Castro: "Good afternoon, brother! I'm going to stop by the box to give you a hug today. Is there someone there that my people can talk to so they don't end up 'semi-barred' waiting for permission?" missing"
- Vorcaro: "Yes. Today there's a barbecue at the house, 15"
