Federal Police arrest man with a ton of marijuana in Paraná

The Federal Police arrested, this Thursday (9), a man with a ton of marijuana in the rural area of São Miguel do Iguaçu, in Paraná.

Agents from FICCO (Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime) carried out the seizure based on information about drug transport in the region.

According to investigations, the PF located a property where bales of marijuana were stored.

In the house, 1,079 kg of the drug, a 20-gauge shotgun, a ballistic vest and a cell phone were seized.

The suspect was arrested in the act and taken to the Federal Police Station in Foz do Iguaçu.
